DAYSPRING HARVEST MINISTRIES

Dayspring Harvest Ministry is an interdependent, interdenominational ministry designed for the purpose of promoting spiritual growth and unity within the Church of Jesus Christ and the community.

Dayspring comes from Luke 1:76-79 "...For you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways, to give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins, Through the tender mercies of our God: whereby the dayspring from on high has visited us to give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet in the way of peace."

The dayspring was the bursting forth of the bright morning sun following the darkness of night.

Our desire is to bring unity and encouragement to the Body of Christ as well as to reach out to those who don't know his saving grace and endeavor to go before Him, prepare the way, give knowledge of salvation to the people, to help give light to those who sit in darkness and despair and have our feet guided by peace. We also desire to prepare people for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dayspring was birthed in 1988 after a season of prayer and would be built after the pattern  (Exodus 25:9) that the Lord would design.

The pattern was to rebuild the walls, raise up age old foundations and repair the broken places in the lives of people. (Isaiah 61:4)

Dayspring was to endeavor to "meet the need for growth in truth and holiness." (John 17:19)

We value an atmosphere where the Trinity is welcome. Where God the Father is honored and loved; where Jesus Christ the Son is lifted up and obeyed; and where the Holy Spirit is recognized and invited to indwell and empower His people. We value to move beyond visitation and into habitation.

We value the Church of Jesus Christ as being made up of people who are indwelt by God's Spirit going into the world as salt and light.

We value Times of Refreshing from the Presence of the Lord and give ourselves to just being in His presence.

We value the dynamics in the gathering of believers as recorded in Acts 2:38-47, "Repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call." and with many other words Peter testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this crooked generation." Then those who gladly received his word were baptized and that day about three thousand souls were added to them, and they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and good, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."

Through intercession and a covenant relationship with Jesus Christ, it is the purpose of Dayspring Harvest Ministries to provide
 

• Platforms for the spirit of prophecy

• Avenues for evangelism

• Opportunities for five-fold ministry

• Fellowship for Christ-centered unity

• Training for equipping of the believer

• Biblical endorsement and support of the nation of Israel

VISION STATEMENT

​

Dayspring Harvest Ministry is founded on prayer with Jesus Christ being the Chief cornerstone. The vision is to prophetically call the body of Christ together in covenant relationship established by God. The five-fold office ministry of Christ will govern our efforts to evangelize and equip for the purpose of reconciling us to God through Jesus Christ in the model of the One-New Man (Ephesians 2:14-18) that reflects His glory. We desire "to meet the need for growth in truth and holiness." (John 17:19 LB)

We envision an APOSTOLIC CENTER that will train, raise up and send forth the next generation of believers, the Joshua Generation, equipped to impact the world for Christ. This next generation will include all - young and old alike - who are called to go forth into their destiny.

This center will be a community center to meet the needs in the marketplace, the church and the region.

This center will house a training ministry comprised of a sanctuary, classrooms and ongoing education and 'hands on' experience.

This center will provide a prayer 'nerve center' where a 24 hour observatory with an ongoing watchman anointing will be in progress.

This center will provide healing rooms for the sick and those in need of emotional and spiritual restoration and deliverance.

Because God calls us to walk by faith we have not yet begun to see and understand all that God has for us. Like Abraham we are "to look for a city that has foundations, whose builder and maker is God." (Hebrews 11:10).

But we are well on our way to seeing this vision accomplished!

 

  Jesus said: “…the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth; for the Father is seeking such who worship Him. God is spirit and those who worship must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24

Explanation: God desires to fill us with His Holy Spirit, and to guide us into all truth. John 16:13 But what is truth? Jesus said “Your Word is truth.” John 17 ;17

Conclusion: We believe that the Holy Bible, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, has been given to us to instruct us how to worship God. On this page we will explain WHY WE WORSHIP THE WAY WE DO, BASING OUR CONVICTIONS ON WHAT THE WORD OF GOD TEACHES. II Tim 3:16-1
 

Our Doctrine

 

• The HOLY BIBLE, and only the Bible is the authoritative Word of God.

• TRINITY There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal.

• JESUS CHRIST is God the Son. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.

• VIRGIN BIRTH Jesus Christ was conceived by God the Father, through the Holy Spirit in the virgin Mary's womb; therefore, He is the Son of God.

• REDEMPTION Man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression he fell; his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ.

• SALVATION We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of good works or of any human efforts.

• JESUS BLOOD The blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross of Calvary was sinless and is 100% sufficient to cleanse mankind of all sin.

• SANCTIFICATION is the ongoing process of yielding to God's Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ's character in us.

• BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT Given at Pentecost, it is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His ascension, to empower the Church to preach the gospel throughout the whole earth. This empowering is given to believers who ask for it.

• THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT All the gifts of the Holy Spirit are valid and operative today. We believe in speaking in tongues and all the manifestations of the Spirit as recorded in the Bible.

• THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT is the character of Jesus Christ and should be increasingly evident in a Christian's life.

• THE CHURCH is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit. Every person who is born of the spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus.

• TWO SACRAMENTS: Water Baptism, The Lord's Supper.

• EVANGELISM We should obey Jesus' command to preach the Gospel to all the world as defined in the Great Commission. We believe in evangelism and missionary work.

• HEALING OF THE SICK is part of Jesus' work on the cross and one of the gifts of the Spirit. Healing is through faith and in the name of Jesus.

• GOD'S WILL FOR PROVISION is spiritual, mental & emotional, physical and financial.

• FINANCES We should give to the local church; other organizations and individuals and unbelievers in need. We give generously, cheerfully and willingly as the Lord leads.

• PRAYER  is powerful and will be answered through faith in the name of Jesus Christ.

• PRAISE & WORSHIP God inhabits the praises of His people and encourage believers to actively enter into praise and worship.

• RESURRECTION Jesus was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. In addition, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; they that are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost to the resurrection of eternal damnation.

• HEAVEN is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

• HELL After living one life on earth, the unbelievers will be judged by God and sent to hell where they will be eternally tormented with the devil and the fallen angels.

• SATAN is a chief enemy of God and believers; his plan is to thwart God's intention and the believer's authority over all the power of the enemy through Jesus' name and His blood.

• SECOND COMING Jesus will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His kingdom.

• ISRAEL, the Church, and the destiny of the nations have no reality apart from Christ, and it is His purpose to bring forth at the closing of this age a most glorious demonstration of His new creation, the "one new man". We believe that God promised Abraham both natural and spiritual seed. As the spiritual and the natural seed of God's elect come into unity in Christ, so shall the spiritual and natural realms unite in unhindered flow of divine life. We reject the tenents of Replacement Theology.

• FIVE-FOLD GOVERNMENTAL GIFTS  Christ gave the five-fold office gifts for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ toward unity, maturity, and faith. Those offices are apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors and teachers.
